My light rock station has switched over to Christmas music already. Grrr. It gets earlier every year.

KUDL or Star 102?

I remember a couple of years ago one of them switched over to Christmas music ON Halloween! I agree, it really is too early.

Whoa, ALREADY? That's nuts! I don't know it is in Connecticut (guess I'll find out), but back home it didn't start until the beginning of December. Hopefully it's just the occasional Christmas song and now ONLY Christmas music.

Yet another reason I don't listen to commercial radio anymore unless it's a sports event. I remember writing in a snarling fit last year to complain to one of my stations for starting the Christmas music on November 1, and their reply was a polite "we don't care what you say, our advertisers want this".

I seriously can't stand that. It's impossible to listen to the radio in November. I belong to the school of thought that says you can't start Christmas until after Thanksgiving!
