New Year's Eve
Happy New Year, everyone!
Well, my Chiefs got a New Year's Eve miracle several times over and will actually be in the playoffs. I think the whole city is stunned. My heart goes out to Broncos fans, however, especially for the senseless shooting of their corner back, Darrent Williams, last night.
David got sick at work yesterday, so I picked him up three hours early and we ended up staying home rather than going to the party we'd planned. I was a bit bummed, but we danced and kissed to ring in the new year, so it was a very happy occasion after all. We're due at my parents' shortly and then my in-laws' for dinner, so may the rest of you have a wonderful day and year!
