More of that 'maturing' and moving on. Okay, she 'loves' him - *something* had to drive the canon nonsense, right? Goodness knows I've seen R/Hr stories where Hermione's driven crazy by his big blue eyes and such. Physical teenage attraction much like canon's H/G. Because certainly we're given no other reason for Hermione's behaviour, other than "she loves him ... because."

But it just wouldn't work. 'Nuff said.
